Being a plus sized woman myself, I know only too well how traumatic it can be for a larger woman to buy clothes. I have personally suffered the humiliation and embarrassment of trying to find clothes that not only fit, but which make me feel good. I have met assistants who have made my search even more difficult with their withering glances and dismissive body language.

I confess to purchasing clothes without trying them on, simply to avoid having to deal with disinterested staff. Consequently I have invested considerable hard earned dollars on clothes that have never seen the light of day.
